‘War Machine’ Music Video.

War Machine is a legendary track by KISS from the 1982 album ‘Creatures of The Night’. But a little known fact is that it was actually written by Bryan Adams.

I’d recently been lucky enough to work as a director and CG artist with Bryan on his anti war song ‘No Sides at All’, which utilised Unreal Engine to place Bryan right inside the war-torn locations of Ukraine and Gaza. So I was stoked when he approached me to put aDr Strangelove-esque anti-war spin on Bryan’s original version of this heavy metal classic.

The video was shot on green screen in Bryan’s London studio. Look out for my cameo as CIA commander!

The post (CG, Environments, Animation, Edit, Keying and Grade) was all handled by me (in Unreal Engine). Sound was put together by Hayden Watson.

It was great to work with Bryan on this one and he was incredibly patient and encouraging with the lengthy process of the CG production. We had loads of fun exchanging ideas over the months as the concept took shape. Hopefully he’s happy with the result!
