Paul McCartney Glastonbury.
I was honoured to play a role in the visual side of Sir Paul McCartney’s headlining set at Glastonbury, where the Got Back US tour finally arrived in the UK. It was fascinating to work closely with Macca himself, and have the freedom to create and collaborate but also the chance to behold a creative mind which is simply unstoppable at the moment!
Having worked on the tour for many years the new additions of note were Getting Better, in which a CGI post apocalyptic world is overcome by the spirit of nature (Featuring the jaw-dropping stop motion photography of Louie Schwartzberg), In Spite Of All the Danger/ Love Me Do/ Dance Tonight featuring a CGI realtime blues shack, and a special Glasto intro sequence to get those wellies stomping in excitement :) All this along with previous content I’ve created for ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’, ‘Blackbird’, ‘New’ (animations of my Album Cover artwork), ‘Let It Be’, ‘Live and Let Die’ and many more. Look out for Roy Bennet’s stunning lighting design too.
