SJ Watson’s second novel and our second project together

SJ Watson had international success with his first book. It was made into a hollywood movie with Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth, and at one point was the best selling book (of ALLbooks) on amazon. Understandably he wanted to do something exciting with the launch of the follow up, ‘Second Life’. The book isbased on a crime which reveals a dark, hidden online identity behind one woman and her digital S+Mexplorations.The concept was based on the Russian doll effect; a sequence ofidentities, which in the book are both virtual and real, arepeeled away like the skin of an onion. We both spoke at Promax UK in the South Bank about the process of bringing this and our previous commercial to life.
